Carold Lambert Wright was born December 31, 1921. He was the son of Kirk Lambert Wright and Gertrude Howard Wright. He joined the U.S. Army on Aug. 22, 1944. The WWII Young American Patriots published he was killed in action in Belgium on January 31, 1945 and awarded a Bronze Star, Purple Heart and one Battle Star. He was buried in the US in 1947. Carold's brother, Paul, was also killed in action in WWII just a month earlier on December 22, 1944.
